We made this version using a mixture of salvaged and remnant silk taffeta. Add some simple detailing with a gathered ruffle - inserted between the 5th / 6th row of patchwork on both trouser legs.. instructions on how to draft your own ruffle pattern are included in our simple hack sheet on the product listing. Make it vintage

For this version we’ve combined some collected vintage textile swatches from a sample book, with various shades of blue linen studio offcuts, for a semi-random effect that makes the repeating bow-shaped patchwork in this design more subtle than in my original all-white version. Here, we used a monochrome colour palate for the whole thing, keeping the design minimal whilst allowing some textural interest with the romantic mini-ruffles..
