Your use of our website and purchase of any of our products is subject to these terms and conditions and by using our website and/or purchasing a product, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact our customer service via email at info@roberts-wood.com before placing your order with us.
We may amend these terms from time to time, but any changes to these terms will not affect any order already made by you. Every time you wish to use our website, please check these terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.
Digital products (PDF Patterns)
ROBERTS | WOOD KiT PDF patterns are digital only products. When you complete your order, the digital products will be sent to you via email as a zip folder containing the pdf patterns and sewing instructions booklets from printing at home. Due to this reason, PDF sewing patterns are non-refundable
THESE ARE DIGITAL PDF SEWING PATTERNS. THEY ARE NOT PAPER PATTERNS. THEY WILL BE DOWNLOADABLE VIA A EMAIL LINK AFTER PURCHASE AND YOU CAN PRINT THEM ON YOUR HOME PRINTER OR FROM A SHOP PRINTER. NO PATTERNS WILL BE SHIPPED IN THE MAIL.
We grant you a licence to use the PDF Patterns for making clothing for your personal use only. We may cancel this licence at any time if we reasonably believe that you have failed to comply with your obligations under these terms and conditions. You are not permitted to use the PDF patterns in connection with a business, you must not on-sell or re-supply the PDF Patterns or any clothing made using any or our patterns. You must not reproduce any of our ROBERTS | WOOD KiT products except for making clothing / accessories for your personal use. You must not assign or transfer your rights as licensee in relation to any purchase without our prior written consent which may be withheld at our discretion.
All Patterns, imagery and photography are the copyright and the exclusive property of ROBERTS | WOOD Limited, unless otherwise noted. All rights reserved. No portion of this site, the patterns, images or other details may be used, whole or in part, without express written permission.
Buying physical products on our website
You may place an order for the products on the website by following the various prompts on screen to add a product to your basket. When you have placed all the products you wish to purchase into your basket you may proceed to the check-out area of the website and submit your order to us by clicking the “Proceed to checkout” button.
After placing an order with us, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted.
We require payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us and availability of the product you have ordered is verified, we will send you an email confirming that your order has been accepted and has been dispatched. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us in relation to the purchase of those products.
Availability
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible, before accepting your order, if the goods you have ordered are not available.
Prices and Payment
All prices on the ROEBERTS | WOOD SHOP are given in British Pounds Sterling (£) and are shown inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate of 20% but exclusive of delivery costs.
If your order is being dispatched to a destination outside the UK then VAT will be deducted at the checkout stage and this will be shown on your invoice.
Please note ROBERTS | WOOD SHOP has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country if it is outwith the UK and for which you will be liable.
You must pay by debit or credit card (we accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch and American Express) at the time of the order. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the price of the product listed on our site is correct. We will normally check prices before accepting your order so that, where the product's correct price at your order date is less than our stated price at your order date, we will charge the lower amount. If the product's correct price at your order date is higher than the price stated to you, we will contact you for your instructions before we accept your order. If we accept and process your order where a pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mispricing, we may end the contract, refund you any sums you have paid and require the return of any goods provided to you.
You should be aware that online payment transactions are subject to validation checks by your card issuer and we are not responsible if your card issuer declines to authorise payment for any reason. Please note, it is possible that your card issuer may charge you an online handling fee or processing fee - we are not responsible for this.
Delivery
The products will be delivered to the delivery address specified by you on the order form. You must therefore ensure its accuracy. Please ensure the address you provide is one where our delivery service can obtain a signature upon delivery of your shipment.
Due to shipping restrictions, we are not able to ship to Post Office boxes.
Products comprised within the same order cannot be delivered to different addresses.
Cancellation and Returns
Cancellation by you
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING SECTION SHALL ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE RESIDENT OF THE UK.
For most products bought online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days of receiving the products and receive a refund.
Please note, this right will not apply to personalised items or goods which have been made to a customer's specification.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel the contract by doing one of the following:

When notifying us, you should provide your name, home address details of your order, and where available, your phone number and email address.
If you cancel the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, excluding the cost of delivery if the product has already been shipped. We also request that items are returned with their original packaging including.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
You shall send back the goods to ROBERTS-WOOD, The Old Church, PE20 3RW, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you tell us you wish to end the contract.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. When returning items, you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit and you are advised to arrange your own insurance. We will only refund or provide an exchange for the costs of postage / transport where the item returned is faulty.
Items returned from outside the UK must to notified to the courier as “RETURNED GOODS”. Failure to notify the courier may result in you being liable for import duties and a refusal my ROBERTS | WOOD to accept the return.
Faulty Goods
If you receive a product and find it is damaged or faulty when it is delivered to you or develops a fault, you may have one or more legal remedies available to you, depending on how quickly you make us aware of the problem. Where you believe a product was delivered damaged or faulty or has developed a fault, please inform us as soon as possible, preferably in writing, giving your name, address and order number. Nothing in this section affects your legal rights.
Liability
We are only liable for any losses which are a foreseeable consequence of us breaking the terms of this agreement. Losses are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by you and us at the time your order is accepted by us.
You must observe and comply with all applicable laws, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our website. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes any statutory rights you might have as a consumer or our liability to you for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that we cannot legally limit or exclude.
Availability and security
Our website is made available free of charge. We do not guarantee that our website, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our website for business and operational reasons,

We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of publication. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you. Orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.
